Well, Lee, things didn’t work out so well for us did they?
You know that’s especially true when you can’t even legally say what it was that didn’t work out. Ha. At least I can laugh now. Hope you can, too.
There were some bad decisions on my part. Some bad economic timing, too.
The time we spent together was, nevertheless, important to me – costly, but important. I look back on our relationship as a time of intense mentoring and some valuable lessons learned. I never doubted you had my best interest at heart.
You came along at a time when I needed to re-establish some self confidence in the business world. Strange as it may sound, it all somehow worked out. I’m happy now, satisfied, and at great peace. Life is pretty good. I wish you could see the place where I’m writing you from now. You’d get a kick out of it.
I’ll always consider you a friend.
Your’s truly, and with grateful thanks.
